Why Do People Like To Travel?

As a person who likes to travel, I have not considered this question very deeply. Because I have always been very casual, I want to go where I want to go. When I want to go, I will leave. The inner problem is not the objective factor that can be controlled.

However, with so many years of travel experience, I feel that travel can get some benefits, such as:

1. The harvest of knowledge, no matter where it is, there are scenery, food, humanities, stories, these are not at home, but also can not be personally experienced in reading thousands of books, I have seen beautiful Starry sky, I have seen the sunrise of the snowy mountains, I have eaten super dark dishes, I have heard the experience of the expeditionary heroes killing the enemy, and I have met many inheritors of culture. Therefore, it is often said that reading thousands of books is not as good as traveling thousands of miles, but I don't think so. I think we should read thousands of books on the road of Wanli Road.

2, sensory gains, I have been riding thousands of miles, I walked on the plateau, I traveled in the marathon, did not have a different impact on the sense of travel, tired and happy, disappointed, lost beyond imagination There are amazing things, and more are fine to taste.

3, spiritual gain, do not know why, every time the end of the trip, I will rise to a spiritual realm, I will work harder, I will face life more positively, so, in the eyes of others, I am a Sunshine, self-confident, motivated.

Therefore, I personally believe that the significance of my travel lies in the desire for the unknown, the pursuit of stimulation, and the yearning for a better life. Let's share some photos of my travels to various places in recent years. Every time I have laughter, every time I have a good time.

Medical groups warn climate change is a 'health emergency'

Jun 24, 2019

WASHINGTON — Dozens of medical and public health groups are aligning to push for a series of consensus commitments to combat climate change, bluntly defined by the organizations as "a health emergency." This comes as Democratic presidential hopefuls prepare for their first 2020 primary debate this week. The new climate change agenda released Monday by 74 groups including the American Medical Association and the American Heart Association comes amid early jostling among Democratic candidates over whose environmental platform is more progressive. The groups are pressing elected officials and presidential candidates to "meet and strengthen U.S. commitments" under the 2015 United...

Jun 24, 2019

COLUMBIA, N.H. — A long-planned Blessing of the Bikes ceremony for motorcycle enthusiasts became a grief-filled memorial Sunday as hundreds converged to mourn seven bikers killed in a devastating crash with a pickup truck . About 400 motorcyclists gathered in Columbia, New Hampshire, for the ceremony — which is periodically held, but had special meaning for the motorcycle community in wake of the accident involving members of the Marine JarHeads, a motorcycle club that includes Marines and their spouses. "When they fall, we all fall," said Laura Cardinal, Vice President of the Manchester Motorcycle Club, adding that fellow bikers will...

Skydiving plane in Hawaii crash had scary 2016 mishap

Jun 24, 2019

HONOLULU — A skydiving plane that crashed in Hawaii, killing 11 people, was involved in a terrifying midair incident three years ago in Northern California that prompted the 14 skydivers aboard to jump earlier than planned to safety, according to government investigative records. The Beechcraft King Air plane crashed and burned on Oahu island's north shore Friday evening after witnesses said it appeared to turn back shortly after takeoff. In the July 23, 2016, incident near Byron, California, the twin-engine plane stalled three times and spun repeatedly before the pilot at that time managed to land it safely, the National...

Kids held by Border Patrol describe disturbing conditions

Jun 24, 2019

CLINT, Texas — In a tiny Texas town about a half-hour drive from El Paso, a nondescript Border Patrol station operated for six years primarily as a hub for agents on patrol, drawing little scrutiny from immigration attorneys who have been loudly advocating against mass U.S. detention camps that can hold more than 2,000 teens at a time. And so attorneys visiting the Border Patrol station in Clint, Texas, this week said they were shocked to find more than 250 infants, children and teens inside the complex of windowless buildings, trying to care for each other with what they described...
